Red, White, and Now Blue

 

I have some SUPER BIG NEWS today!!!!!!  News that definitely warrants the overuse of capital letters and exclamation points :)

Mr. Pudding and I attended our Change of Status interview today, and I have been approved for a Green Card!  It's coming in the mail, and in as little as two weeks I will finally be able to work, travel, and generally contribute to society once again!  

We are beyond excited!  The interview went very smoothly, and upon exiting the building Mr. Pudding gave me a giant SMOOCH!  It's been such a long road, but we've finally arrived!

We celebrated by signing "Born in the USA" and "American Woman" on our drive home - well, actually, I sang, and Mr. P rolled his eyes at me :p  We also stopped by a local grocery store to pick up a piece of the American Dream :p

Anyone else going through the immigration process?
