On a Roll

In the last week or so, I have been a DIY wedding machine!  I feel very energized and inspired, and I think that this might have something to do with the beautiful weather.  Crafting with the windows opened to let the breeze and sunshine in is so much more enjoyable than trying to work in a cold, dark room.

I will be unveiling some of my crafting in the weeks to come, but I wanted to start with a project that I finally managed to complete.  That's right, bees:  My table numbers!

I took your advice about having more than one pattern serve as the backing, but I really wanted to keep all of them a uniform yellow.  So I used the stripes, a damask design, and two different embossed patterns.

And before you comment on the fact that 29 tables seems like a lot, keep in mind that I am scaling up.  We are inviting around 250 guests (expecting around 200), and are having round tables.  Ideally, we'd like to sit eight people per table, but are willing to push that number to ten per table.  Hopefully, 29 tables is an overestimate!

Does anyone else find themselves inspired to craft because of the weather?  What types of projects have you crossed of the list?
