One of the projects that I have been working on for the past couple of weeks is our "wish box". What's a "wish box", you ask? Well, Miss Guinea Pig provided a great explanation of the concept here. Thanks, GP!
Wanna see my version? It makes me so freakin' happy!

TA DA!!!
I found this beautiful box at TJ Maxx for $4.99. It was originally a kind of "rustic creme" colour, so I spray painted it a nice, crisp white. As is evident by the right hand corner of the box, I suck at spray painting. Mr. Pudding has promised to fix my botched paint job :p
I tweaked a template I found on Creature Comforts to create my cards. I cut them down to size, and than backed them using the same paper and patterns as I used for my table numbers.
I made four different English cards. Each has a different "prompt". I hope that this inspires our guests to be a little bit more expressive. I also made two cards in Polish, since we will have non-English speakers at the wedding. Mr. Pudding's dad is also working on a card in French, in order to honour his French Canadian roots.
After the guests fill out their cards, they will simply place them in the box. I thought about putting in alphabetized tags, but then decided against them. I see no practical need to organize the cards in such a manner.
Again, the paint job sucks. I probably wouldn't pass kindergarten with these skills. Don't judge. I'm not quite sure how I will display all of the pieces yet, but I am loving the amount of texture and the pops of colour that the cards present.

Have you decided on your "guest book" yet? Are you going the traditional "book" route, or will you be doing something out of the ordinary?
