This is what planning a Polish wedding looks like....

Dear Hive,

Feast your eyes on the 6 sheet cakes that Mama Pudding and I brought home from our wedding baker yesterday.  If you think that 6 sheet cakes, on top of the wedding cake and groom's cake that FMIL Pudding is baking, is overkill, than you will be shocked to hear that these 6 will join another 10 that Mama P has in her freezer.

So, in total, there will be 18 cakes at our wedding.  Of course, only two of these cakes will be the standard, cream cheese frosting kind.  The other 16 will be traditional Polish cakes - think cheesecakes, and poppy seed cakes and layered honey cakes.  Kind of like this:

Needless to say, the pre-wedding diet is not going so well.  Ironically, Mama Pudding is worried that there won't be enough cake at the wedding.
